POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Human Resources Business Partner you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR, payroll and Environmental Health and Safety functions, including but not limited to: recruitment, interviewing, workplace safety, benefits administration, employee relations, company policies and procedures, and payroll.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, and collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
· Develop, administer and execute HR policies and procedures
· Oversees all benefits management (PTO, health, 401k, unemployment, and workers compensation)
· Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Completes all payroll practices
· Ensures safety policies and procedures are in place and followed accordingly
· Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written form and interface with all departments. Must maintain professional and execute Home Solutions Midwest Brand requirements. Must be able to multi-task, be accurate, have good organizational skills and handle high levels of stress. · A minimum of two years of human resources experience preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
· Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
This is not a remote position.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
